Boy (9) in critical condition after falling from apartment window

JOHANNESBURG – A nine-year-old boy is in a critical condition after falling from an apartment building in Killarney.

It’s understood the boy fell out of the third storey window yesterday.

ER24’s Chitra Bodasing said the exact cause of the incident is being investigated.

“Paramedics assessed the child who was lying on the ground and found that he sustained critical injuries. He was treated and airlifted to hospital for further medical care.

“The cause of the incident is unknown, we’re not actually sure if the parents were there at the time.”
