Toy Drive To Celebrate International Day of Persons With Disabilities
Private Security Company Vision Tactical is supporting the Gauteng’s Province Officer of the Premier by inititiating a community toy drive to mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd.
The International Day of Persons with Disabilities will be hosted by the Department of Social Development at Paterson Park in Norwood on the 3rd of December 2022.
Director of Vision Tactical, Yaseen Theba says that the annual toy drive is a great opportunity to help families in need in our community and beyond.
“Our goal is to collect as many toys as possible to make the holidays brighter for local kids of all ages, from newborn to age 18.”
Theba adds that this is a great opportunity for parents to encourage their kids to embrace the spirit of giving.
“The community can come through to drop their toys off at 37 11th Avenue, Houghton Estate, collections will be from Thursday 1st December till Saturday 3rd December 12pm.”
The Gauteng Provincial Government has emphasized removing barriers to create an inclusive and accessible society for all by 2030.
The park will be open to all members of the community.
